Pre-completion inspection
- PCI checklist
A Pre-completion survey based around NHQB (New Homes Quality Board) approved checklist. This is a slightly reduced survey as the property is still in the care of the developer. The RPSA (residential property surveyors association) have pre approved this check sheet with the NHBC and NHQB for this purpose.
Full post-completion survey
Our most popular and comprehensive, full, in-depth home survey. (Includes thermal imaging inspection [where appropriate] and GoPro™ roof survey).Checking not only for imperfections in finishes but also installations falling outside of industry standards such as NHBC and building regulation guidance.
Thermal survey included, checking for heat loss and Thermal failiures in underfloor heating, radiators, windows and external doors.

Contracts must be exchanged with the builder in advance of this inspection taking place.
Property re-inspection (aka De-snag)
Already had a full snag and wish to check the quality of the fixes? Then this is for you.If you have already invested in either our full post- completion snagging survey or the pre-completion inspection and want to check if the developer has rectified the issues to a suitable standard, this service is for you.
Our inspectors will visit with the original list and check over all the items to ensure the correct standards have been met. We will also check that no further damage has been caused during the repair process. Any additional issues found will be listed also.
EPC assessments
An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) measures the energy efficiency of residential properties and rates it on a sliding scale depending on how efficient it is. Ratings are from A-G with A being the most efficient and G being the least.

If you're looking to sell or rent your home, then you'll need an EPC assessment completed to go alongside your listing to show potential buyers how energy efficient the home is.

If you're a landlord, it's a legal requirement to have an up-to-date Energy Performance Certificate and recent rules mean that the property has to meet Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) of an E rating or above in order to comply with regulations.
