When purchasing a new build home, or indeed completing an extension or refurbishment, it's important to be aware of the potential for snagging issues. These are defects or unfinished work that may need to be addressed by the builder/ developer. No matter how diligent the site manager, It's always prudent to have a professional snagging inspection carried out to ensure any issues are identified and resolved as quickly, and with as little fuss as possible. This can save you time and money in the long run, and ensure your new home is in top condition.
Our experienced and professional inspectors are from construction management backgrounds and are all RPSATech and/ or RICS qualified surveyors and as such are required to undertake continuous personal training and skills development. Ensuring knowledgeable and dedicated surveyors for our customers.
What is snagging?
Snagging is a term used in construction and refers to the process of identifying any defects or issues in a building before it is handed over to the client. These items can include anything from cosmetic items to more serious structural and industry tolerance issues.
Thermal Imaging survey
Thermal Imaging surveys also available. We use infrared technology to spot common issues like heat loss at doors, windows, and radiators. Our industry-standard thermal cameras, ensuring minimum NHBC standards, helping to identify potential problems. If a more detailed analysis is required, especially if complex issues are found, we may require a more in-depth investigation. Full cavity inspections also available.
